DENVER – Friday will bring more storms to Colorado, bearing rain, hail and lightning.

Denver7 meteorologists say temperatures will top out in the upper 80s and low 90s in Denver by 2 p.m. before the storms move in and cool things down.

The storms will be slow-moving and will likely produce frequent lightning and heavy rain across the state.

The weekend will be a little cooler with a continued chance for afternoon thunderstorms across most of the state. Localized flooding will continue to be a concern over the next couple days as stormy conditions persist.
