WINDSOR, Colo. – A man suspected of shooting and killing a person Monday evening in Windsor turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday morning, but they are still looking for the car he was likely driving.
Kaman Morgan, 35, of Windsor, turned himself in early Tuesday after the shooting Monday. According to Windsor police, officers arrived at a home in the 400 block of Sundance Drive around 8:11 p.m. Monday and found a woman's body. On Wednesday afternoon, the Weld County Coroner's Office identified the woman, who was found on a driveway, as Brie Ann Biondolillo, 37, of Greeley.
On Monday night, police called Morgan the person of interest in the homicide and said he had been seen leaving the area in a black or dark maroon Nissan Maxima with Colorado license plates CAK-150. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Windsor police said no children were harmed during the homicide despite rumors that had been the case.
On Tuesday morning, Windsor police spokesperson Aaron Lopez said they were still looking for the Nissan Maxima sedan they believe Morgan was driving. But the department said later in the day they found the Maxima sometime Tuesday after a tip from the public.
The police department is asking anyone with information about the case to call Commander Robert Holt at 970-674-6416. The identity of the victim and their cause and manner of death is expected to be released in coming days by the Weld County Coroner’s Office.
