DENVER – A man shot wounded in a shooting off North Quebec Street in Denver on Saturday night has died, police said.
Officers were responding about 10:45 p.m. to the shooting off Quebec and East 7th Avenue. The man was taken to a hospital. On Sunday, police tweeted that the man had died.
Homicide detectives were still investigating the shooting.
On Monday, Denver police said a woman was taken into custody in connection with the homicide and said the incident appeared to be isolated. Police did not identify the woman and said the investigation was ongoing.
On Tuesday, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the victim as Tyre Falls, 27, and said his cause of death was a gunshot wound and manner of death was homicide.
