AURORA, Colo. — Aurora police are continuing to investigate a shooting from Sunday night that left one man dead.
Officers were called to the area of E. Illiff Avenue and S. Chambers Road around 10:42 p.m. Sunday after people reported hearing a gunshot.
A wounded man was found in the parking lot in the Cambrian Apartments along the 15600 block of E. Caspian Circle. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
Witnesses said they heard a single gunshot and saw suspects run from the scene, a police spokesman said.
