THORNTON, Colo. — Police in Thornton are investigating a shooting at the Park 88 Apartments on E. 88th Avenue that left one man dead and another injured.
The Thornton Police Department first tweeted about the incident around 2 a.m. Monday.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound and another man who was assaulted at 101 E. 88th Avenue. Both were transported to the hospital, where the man who was shot died, police said.
As of 3:30 a.m., police said they do not have a motive or suspect information.
