Man found dead of a gunshot wound in alley in Aurora, police say

AURORA, Colo. – Police found a man dead of a gunshot wound in an alley in Aurora on Friday morning.

Officers responded about 1:45 a.m. to the 1400 block of Havana Street on a report about a person with a head injury, according to a police news release. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. The man died at the scene, police said.

Detectives are investigating the case as a homicide. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police agent H. Graw at 303-739-6213.

On June 8, the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office identified the victim as David Guerrero Rodriguez, 33, and said his cause of death was gunshot wounds and his manner of death was homicide.
