DENVER – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead in Denver Wednesday morning.
Denver police responded to the intersection of 35th and Walnut around 3:45 a.m. after receiving reports of multiple shots fired.
The responding officers found a trail of blood, which they followed down the street to 35th and Downing. There, officers found a man dead.
It wasn’t clear if police had identified a suspect or suspects.
Nearby streets are closed while officers investigate.
