Man dead, another wounded after early-morning shooting in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. – One man is dead and another wounded after an early-morning shooting in southern Pueblo Thursday.

Officers called to the 2500 block of O’Neal Ave. on reports of shots fired around 4:40 a.m. found the man dead in the middle of the street and another wounded nearby in the Pueblo Village Apartments parking lot, police say.

The injured man was taken to a Pueblo hospital with serious injuries.

Witnesses told police they saw a silver car and another dark-colored sedan leaving the scene of the shooting, which police say they are still investigating.

No arrests have been made and the victims have yet to be identified.
