AURORA, Colo. — Police are searching for a man accused of attacking an elderly woman in Aurora and robbing her at knifepoint.

The attack happened about 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 18, near South Chambers Road and East Smoky Hill Road, according to a police news release Friday.

The suspect pulled out a knife, punched the woman and stole her vehicle, which was later found, police said.

Police described the suspect as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a red t-shirt, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a green coat. He was armed with a large knife with a gray handle, police said.
