Longmont 68-year-old who went missing Wednesday found

LONGMONT, Colo. — The Longmont Police Department is asking the public to keep an eye out for Stephen Gaylord Butler, 68, who went missing Wednesday afternoon.

Butler was last seen walking westbound around the 2000 block of Sunset Way in Longmont around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Colorado Bureau of Investigation alert. He hasn’t been seen since.

At that time, he was wearing a green T-shirt, dark blue jeans, a denim jacket and glasses.

He’s described as a white male, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown-gray hair and brown eyes.

According to the CBI, Butler has an impaired mental condition.
