Large brush fire threatened structures in Parker; now under control

PARKER, Colo.- Firefighters rushed to a brush fire Monday afternoon which threatened structures temporarily in Parker.

The fire burned for a short time on Tammy Lane north of West Hess Road before 3 p.m. No injuries have been reported during the response, but fire officials did say they worked to save structures that were threatened. 

 

Soon after firefighters announced structures were threatened, they had the fire under control. 

The fire burned about an acre.

No structures were damaged.

Investigators were looking into the cause of the fire.
