Keystone skier dies, found unconscious in trees

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. — A 51-year-old male skier died after he was found unconscious and not breathing in the trees off the side of a ski run at Keystone Ski Resort Monday afternoon.

The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by the Keystone Medical Center.

The identity of the skier is being withheld until notification of the next of kin has been made by the Summit County Coroner.

The Summit County Coroner has taken over the investigation into the cause and manner of death.
