DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Wednesday, Sep. 20.

1. Hurricane Maria makes landfall in Puerto Rico
Maria was just shy of a Category 5 storm when it made landfall, packing sustained winds of 155 mph. The hurricane is the first Category 4 storm to hit Puerto Rico since the 1930s.

2. Death toll climbs in Mexico
A magnitude 7.1 earthquake rattled central Mexico Tuesday, killing more than 200 people as buildings collapsed in plumes of dust. Some people are still missing this morning.

3. Diana DeGette holds news conference on DACA
Democratic Rep. Diana DeGette will hold a news conference Wednesday on the need to preserve DACA protections via federal law.

4. Littleton town hall tonight
The city of Littleton is holding a town hall on infrastructure and capital projects tonight at 6:30 at the Falls Events Center. You can attend in person, online or over the phone. Just go to littletontownhall.org.

5. Cooler temps on Wednesday
Wednesday will be cooler again with highs in the 60s in the mountains and 70s to low 80s across the plains.
