DENVER -- Hundreds of whiskey fans waited in line outside Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey distillery in Denver Friday night to get up to two bottles of the limited-edition 2019 Snowflake release.
Every year, Stranahan’s releases a limited-edition bottling of Snowflake only available for one day at the Denver distillery.
The Snowflake release has developed a cult following with hundreds of loyal fans and whiskey collectors braving the cold for up to 72 hours to get their hands on a bottle.
"It’s an endurance test. It’s a rite of passage to get a low bottle number," said Cowdin with a laugh.
