Greeley police post video of suspect peeking into homes

UPDATE (Wednesday, 5 a.m.) — Greeley police say the suspect seen peeking into homes Sunday morning has been identified and arrested.

Around 1 a.m. Wednesday, several late-shift officers were working on this case and spotted a man riding a bright pink BMX-style bicycle. They attempted to contact the man, who ran from officers, police said. After a short case, he was caught.

He has been identified as Armando Marquez-Gonzalez. He had numerous burglary tools in his backpack, police said.

He has been charged with trespassing, obstruction, possession of methamphetamine, possession of burglary tools and identity theft.

GREELEY, Colo. — The Greeley Police Department is asking residents to be on the lookout for a suspect who was seen on surveillance video peeking into a home.

Police said the suspect appeared "very suspicious" as he looked into windows.

The police department said the man was spotted Sunday at 5:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of 46th Avenue. The suspect crossed the street and looked into the windows of another home afterward.
