DENVER -- It was a treat for fans of the show Gilmore Girls Wednesday when six Colorado coffee shops transformed into Luke's Diner -- -- a staple from the show.
Purple Door Coffee in Denver was just one of hundreds of locations across the country that converted into Gilmore Girls' hometown coffeehouse.
Several fans lined up to get a free cup of joe.
The promotion teased Netflix's "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" which is a four-episode revival.
