4:18 p.m. — Officials clarified that only one school is on lockout status due to the nearby shooting investigation in Highlands Ranch.

4:04 p.m. — A shooting investigation near the 9800 block of Castle Ridge Cir. in Highlands Ranch has prompted authorities to place nearby schools on lock down status, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Residents in the area are also being asked to shelter in place.

5:17 a.m. — The ramp from westbound I-70 to I-270 has reopened.

4:30 a.m. —Denver police have closed the ramp from westbound I-70 to westbound I-270 following a rollover. A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive. The ramp should reopen by 6 a.m., according to a Denver Police Department tweet. It appears that some barriers were moved or damaged in the crash, and crews are repairing those now.

12:05 a.m. — No injuries were reported in an fire that started on the balcony of a third floor apartment near 121st Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in Thornton. People living in three units were displaced. The cause of fire is under investigation.
