7 a.m. — South Metro Fire Rescue is responding to a small brush fire in the Cheese Ranch Historic & Natural Area in Highlands Ranch. It is burning near Gleneagles Village Parkway and Greenspointe Lane. No structures are threatened now and there are no injuries. Smoke may be visible in the area.

5:46 a.m. — Broomfield police are at a water main break on 6th Avenue on Alter Street. That intersection has closed while crews work. Police are encouraging drivers to use W. Midway Boulevard as an alternate to access the businesses in the area along Alter, Burbank and Compton Streets.

4:25 a.m. Monday — The man shot at E. Colfax Avenue and N. Verbena Street Sunday evening has died.

10:42 p.m. Sunday — Denver police are at the scene of a shooting at E. Colfax Avenue and N. Verbena Street. A man was shot and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said. There was no suspect information available.
