7:33 p.m: Denver police are responding to a "large-scale, weather-related multiple-vehicle crash on eastbound 6th Ave. and southbound I-25. Westbound 6th is closed at Kalamath. Eastbound 6th Ave. is closed at Federal Blvd.

7:04 p.m.: Multiple crashes are being reported on I-25 between Castle Rock and Monument Hill. CSP advises drivers to slow down if driving tonight.

6:47 p.m.: South Metro Fire Rescue says a total of 12 patients were taken to a hospital following multiple vehicle crashes between Castle Pines and Ridgegate. Crews are now clearing the scene.

5:48 p.m.: South Metro Fire Rescue says a total of 11 patients have been taken to area hospitals for treatment.

5:43 p.m.: South Metro Fire Rescue says one lane of traffic remains open on northbound I-25. One person sustained serious injuries, the others sustained minor to moderate injuries. The left lane of southbound I-25 is closed for emergency vehicles.

5:27 p.m.: The northbound lanes of I-25 are shut down at Castle Pines Parkway due to multi-vehicle crash between Castle Pines and Ridgegate, South Metro Fire Rescue officials say. Crews report between six and seven people are injured. Expect traffic delays in the area.
