10:52 a.m. — The lockouts at Lasley Elementary School, Great Work Montessori and Alameda International have been lifted.

10:28 a.m. — Lakewood police said the suspected shooter is in custody.

9:45 a.m. — Lakewood police are responding to a report of shots fired in the area of Sanderson Creek near W. Jewell Avenue and S. Harlan Circle. They said the situation is active and "very dangerous." Police are asking people to avoid the area and for neighbors to shelter in place. Lasley Elementary School, Great Work Montessori and Alameda International are on lockout while police work at this scene.
