5:07 p.m.: Southbound Parker is closed at Hampden and westbound Hampden is closed at southbound Parker due to the road buckling and causing dangerous driving conditions, according to the Aurora Police Department. The roads are being diverted from westbound Hampden to southbound Parker. CDOT anticipates repairs will take at least all night long. Take alternate routes and stay out of the area.

10:45 a.m.: Edgewater police said residents reported shots fired about 7:30 a.m., coming from a home where a 42-year-old man is living with his parents. The parents ran out of the home and were OK, and the man was still barricaded inside. Police said there was no danger to nearby residents and that the man has a history of firing weapons. 9:56 a.m.: The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Edgewater police are working an "active scene" in the 2500 block of Fenton. The street is closed near 25th and Fenton and the sheriff's office says residents are urged to stay inside. We are working to get more information.
