1. Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at Denver Botanic Gardens

What: The Denver Botanic Gardens are hosting a family-friendly celebration for Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with activities, performances and a costume contest.

2. Check out a museum for free

What: Museums across Denver are open late and offering free admission on Saturday as part of Denver Arts Week. There’s even a shuttle to help you get from one museum to the next.

3. See a movie or two at the Denver Film Festival

What: The 41st annual Denver Film Festival just kicked off this week and runs through Nov. 11. The festival features films from across the United States and the world, giving you the chance to see movies you might not otherwise.
