FORT LUPTON, Colo. — The City of Fort Lupton Police Department is looking for two persons of interest after a deadly shooting at a motel Saturday afternoon.
Officers responded to the KC Motel at 201 1st St. around 3 p.m. for a shooting call. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot.
The man died from his injuries at the hospital. Police have not released the identity of the victim, pending next of kin notification.
Police said Preston Cordova, 21, and Sierra Maes, 26, are persons of interest. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call the Fort Lupton Police Department dispatch at (720) 652-4222.
