1. Soggy First Alert Action Day
A slow moving storm system continues to bring showers, thunderstorms and snow across the state. We're seeing some of our heaviest showers for the early morning commute. Give yourself some extra time and bring an umbrella!

2. Some Boulder Valley schools closed
The Boulder Valley School District says its mountain schools, including Nederland Elem., Nederland Middle and Senior High, Gold Hill Elem. and Jamestown Elem. CLOSED today due to weather conditions.

3. Trump changes tune on Stormy Daniels payment
In an interview with Fox News, Rudy Giuliani said President Trump paid back his lawyer, Michael Cohen, the $130,000 in hush money that went to porn actress Stormy Daniels. "Money from the campaign, or campaign contributions, played no roll (sic) in this transaction," Trump said this morning. He had previously denied having any knowledge of the payment.

4. Two big tech openings today
Both Amazon and Microsoft are holding grand openings in the Denver metro area today. Amazon is celebrating the opening of its fulfillment center in Aurora, which employes 1,000 people, and Microsoft opening a new technology center in the Denver Tech Center.

5. Home prices still on the rise
The latest data from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors show that the median home price in metro Denver hit $417,000 in April. That's up 2.75 percent from March and 9.46 percent higher than the same time last year.
