DENVER — With our dry soil and drought years, it can be hard to find the best plants for your yard, but Castle Rock Water has a website that can help.
Plant Finder has an entire library of plants that grow and thrive in our area and use a low amount of water.
"It's to help people design landscape -- beautiful and efficient landscape." said Mark Marlowe, the Director of Castle Rock Water.
"We have pictures of various flowers, perennials, shrubs and trees that do great in Castle Rock," Marlowe said.
While the site focuses on what does well in Castle Rock, many of the plants should do well across the Front Range.
The Plant Finder website is part of the Castle Water Water conservation site.
