Agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency seized about 22,000 pounds of marijuana found at illegal grows across southeast Colorado Wednesday.
The DEA says the ring broken up Wednesday has international ties, as all the suspects originate in southeast Asia.
The illegal pot was being shipped from Colorado to Arkansas and Texas. Agents had to use 13 different warrants to round up all the plants and suspects. A total of 300 plants were found at one site alone.
The DEA says several homes were used solely for growing the marijuana.
All 22,000 pounds will be destroyed.
