Family selling CD to raise money for search for Aubrey Sacco, missing in Nepal since 2010

Aubrey Sacco disappeared while hiking alone

DENVER - The father of a missing woman is selling a CD of songs to raise money for her search.

Aubrey Sacco, of Greeley, went missing while hiking alone in Langtang National Park in northern Nepal in 2010.

The album, Finding Aubrey, has three songs written and sang by Aubrey. The other songs were written by Paul Sacco.

"When our young daughter went missing I began writing songs as a way to deal with the tragedy.," Paul wrote on an Amazon website. "Although it is grief-filled and sad, 'Finding Aubrey' is raw and honest. Making this album has been my sanity."

After another young woman who was hiking alone disappeared and then was found dead in May 2012, Nepal banned solo trekking.

Paul Sacco, his wife, Connie, and their son Morgan, traveled to Nepal for several weeks. They found some personal items belonging to Aubrey, including her laptop, video camera and journal at the last hotel where she stayed.
