DENVER — One man died following an early morning shooting Tuesday in Denver.
At 4:21 a.m. Tuesday, the Denver Police Department tweeted that officers were at the scene of a shooting along the 1500 block of N. Valentia St.
A man was shot and transported to a hospital with serious injuries, police said. The department later updated the situation, saying the man had died at the hospital.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner on Tuesday afternoon identified the victim of the shooting as Khari Johnson, 23. His cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and manner of death was homicide, the medical examiner said.
