ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Natura Obscura exhibit in Englewood will stay open five extra months due to popular demand.
The Museum of Outdoor Arts describes its Natura Obscura exhibit on its website as an “immersive art experience that’s like stepping into your favorite painting but where you can hear, smell, touch, and explore everything around you.”
This self-guided exploration takes visitors through a surrealist forest that combines art, sculpture, augmented reality and digital technologies.
The part-museum, part-virtual reality experience was expected to close on April 28, but due to popular demand, MOA announced it will stay open to the public until Sept. 29. The exhibit will close April 30 through May 2 for scheduled maintenance.
Natura Obscura is in MOA’s indoor space at 1000 Englewood Parkway, Suite 2-230 in Englewood. It is open Tuesday-Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed on Monday.
