DENVER — A large fight amid home opener celebrations in lower downtown Denver sent a DPD officer to the hospital Friday evening.
Around 7 p.m., officers responded to an area around 19th and Market streets on a report of multiple people fighting.
Police said a male officer responding to the brawl was struck by a thrown bottle and suffered a head laceration.
