Dillon Ice Castles will close for the season March 9

DILLON, Colo. — If you’ve been waiting to check out the Dillon Ice Castles, get your ticket soon. The attraction will close for the season March 9.

Ice artists started building the interactive experience in mid-November and it officially opened Dec. 21, 2018. Over the span of nine weeks, tens of thousands of people have toured it.

The castles are made of hundreds of thousands of hand-placed icicles, and features ice-carved tunnels, fountains, slides, frozen thrones and towers that light up and twinkle to music.

Ice Castles, LLC, which is based in Utah, has five other locations in North America, including Midway in Utah, North Woodstock in New Hampshire, Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, Excelsior in Minnesota and Edmonton in Alberta.

To purchase tickets, click here. General admission is $15.95 during the week and $18.95 on weekends. Children's tickets are $10.95 during the week and $14.95 on weekends.
