DENVER -- Designers from Denver and all over the country are getting ready for a runway show like no other. The Art Directors Club of Denver is putting on its annual "Paper Fashion Show" to support Downtown Aurora Visual Arts. DAVAprovides art programs for youth.
The show is a challenge for designers, who trade their fabrics for paper to create fashions that look like high end dresses. Models will walk the runway in the dresses during the show. But spectators also have a chance to take one of the creations home.
"The models have to wear them that evening but we also have an auction which will take place at the VIP party where people will be able to look at the dresses up close and bid on them," says event chair and ADCD President Anne Redureau.
The Paper Fashion show is April 6th at the Denver Center for Performing Arts Seawell Ballroom. Tickets can be purchased here.
