Denver’s summer meal program offers free breakfast, lunch five days a week

DENVER — School is no longer in session but students can still receive free breakfast and lunch meals in Denver.

Denver Public Schools’ annual Summer Meal Program offers free meals five days a week at more than 50 sites throughout the summer.

Meals are available free of charge to children ages 1 to 18 and registration is not required. Meals are offered to children regardless of income, race or religion.

Adults can purchase breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3.50.
