DENVER — A grizzly bear at the Denver Zoo bit the hand of a trainer Friday afternoon.
The man was transported to the hospital as a precaution with non-life threatening injuries, according to a Denver Zoo spokesperson.
The zoo official said the incident took place in an enclosure and visitors were never in any danger. The zoo remained opened until its normal closing time of 5 p.m.
