Denver police looking for teen wanted on first-degree murder charge

DENVER — Denver police say a 19-year-old is wanted on a first-degree murder charge in connection to the death of a 17-year-old earlier this month.

Denver police are looking for 19-year-old Auviauntea Lescan Mique Evans and said the teen should be considered armed and dangerous.

Evans is wanted for first-degree murder in connection to the homicide of Reese Grant-Cobb, 17, police said. On July 1, police responded to the Bourbon Grill at 571 E. Colfax Avenue shortly after 11 p.m. and found the teen outside the restaurant. He had been assaulted by multiple people and stabbed. He was taken to a hospital and later died.

Police said he is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.
