Denver named in top 10 most facial hair-friendly cities, Wahl offering free beard trims to celebrate

DENVER — As a way to celebrate landing on a list of facial hair-friendly cities, a grooming company will offer free facial hair trims at the Taste of Colorado. 

Denver was named No. 10 on the list of most facial hair-friendly cities in the United States by the men’s grooming company Wahl. This is the fifth annual research study on this topic from the company.

To celebrate this, Wahl is bringing its 30-foot mobile barbershop to Denver's A Taste of Colorado to offer Cuts for a Cause Sept. 1-3. A team of master barbers will offer men free facial hair trims. For every trim, Wahl will donate $1 to ZERO: The End of Prostate Cancer, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for prostate cancer.

How did Wahl determine the list of facial hair-friendly cities? It partnered with market research leader Opinion Research Corporation to analyze online positivity surrounding beards and mustaches. The top cities were ranked based on overall interest and positive commentary.
