DENVER — A Man who police say attempted to a meet an undercover officer posing as teen pleaded guilty Tuesday to a misdemeanor sex crime.
Denver7 partner the Denver Post reportedthat John Edward Cushing, 49, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual contact (incapable of appraising nature of conduct).
Cushing was arrested in September after he allegedly offered the undercover officer $40 to watch him perform sexual acts in his car. He is also accused of exchanging photographs with the officer.
Days later, Cushing offered the undercover officer $20 to meet her at a Taco Bell to say “hi,” according to an arrest affidavit.
He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 13.
