DENVER -- Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Friday, March 23, 2018.

1. Lawmakers approve spending bill
With another deadline looming, lawmakers overnight passed a $1.3 trillion spending bill that will keep the government funded through September. The bill also increases military and domestic spending.

2. Firestone's town manager stepping down
Town Manager Bruce Nickerson resigned late last night. His last day will be two weeks from today. He's been the town manager since 2016 and was a town planner for 22 years before that.

3. Law enforcement announcement today
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and other federal law enforcement officials say they plan to make an announcement about a "major" cyber law enforcement action today. The announcement is scheduled for 8 a.m. MT.

4. Grandoozy tickets go on sale today
Tickets for Denver's newest music festival go on sale today at 10 a.m. If you want to go to Grandoozy, you'll have to commit to the whole three-day weekend. Tickets start at $225.

5. Mild and dry with high fire danger
We'll see partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees in Denver metro. Fire danger is high and we'll see gusts over 50 mph in the foothills and northern Front Range mountains.
