Denver, Colorado Springs getting CenturyLink broadband speeds up to 1 gigabit per second

10 times faster than current network, company says

DENVER - CenturyLink is launching a fiber network in Denver and Colorado Springs with broadband speeds capable of reaching 1 gigabit per second.

The company boasts their fiber network will provide speeds up to 100 times faster than today’s average broadband speeds, according to CenturyLink, and nearly 10 times faster than what is available now in Denver.

The ultra-fast network will be available in just 16 cities across the country, including:

  • Columbia, Mo.
  • Jefferson City, Mo.
  • Las Vegas
  • Omaha
  • Minneapolis-St. Paul
  • Orlando
  • Portland
  • Salt Lake City
  • Seattle
  • Albuquerque, N.M.
  • Phoenix
  • Sioux Falls, S.D.
  • Spokane, Wash.
  • Tucson, Ariz.

"Hundreds of thousands of residential and business customers will also have access to these advanced fiber services within the next 12 months," CenturyLink stated.
