DENVER – Denver is one of the best cities in the country when it comes to recreation, but you already knew that.
In a new report from WalletHub, Denver is ranked 8th out of the country's 100 largest cities in terms of recreation offerings.
WalletHub looked at more than just outdoor recreation for its list. Factors that went into each city’s ranking included the cost of food, movie ticket prices, ice cream shops per capita and the number of sports venues, in addition to things like weather and the number of parks and trails.
With all of those factors combined, Orlando takes the top spot, followed by San Diego and Las Vegas.
Colorado Springs and Aurora also made the list, coming in at numbers 33 and 84, respectively.
