DENVER -- An 18-day-old zebra at the Denver Zoo couldn't contain his excitement at one of the first snowfalls of his life.
Elder zebras watched the young Cody dash through piles of snow Tuesday as temperatures warmed up, but snow still remained on the ground. The Denver Zoo shared video to Denver7, and on their social media pages.
Cody is an endangered species of zebra, identified as the Grevy's Zebra, and is the second child of his mother Farasi.
In the wild, Grevy's Zebra can only be found in deserts and open grasslands in northern Kenya and south eastern Ethiopia.
The cute fawn can be seen any day in the yard of the zebra exhibit, or check out the Denver Zoo's Zoo Lights special.
