JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — Authorities in Jefferson County announced Tuesday afternoon that they have safely located a man who had gone missing earlier in the day.
The man, 33-year-old Scott Guffey, was last seen near North Turkey Creek Road and Danks Lane in Evergreen.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was concerned about his disappearance because of his limited mental ability.
However, the sheriff’s office tweeted around 3:30 p.m. that deputies had found Guffey "safe and sound."
