SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. -- Fire crews are battling a 15 to 20-acre wildfire in Summit County Saturday afternoon.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office tweeted that the Frey Gulch Fire was burning at a shooting range above the county landfill on U.S. 6 near Keystone. The highway is closed for helicopter water drops.

Although the fire is producing a large smoke plume, it does not appear to be threatening any structures at this time.

The sheriff's office is asking residents in the area not to call 9-1-1 about the fire.

Crews from Lake Dillon Fire and Red, White and Blue Fire are working the blaze.
