Work has begun to transform Coors Field from a baseball stadium into a hockey stadium.

The NHL tweeted a photo Wednesday morning showing the work that is underway.

Coors Field will hosts three hockey games this month -- one college game and two NHL games.

The first one, in ten days, is the University of Denver v. Colorado College. It's being called "The Battle on Blake."

The NHL's games are Feb. 26 and 27.

On February 27, the Colorado Avalanche will take on the Detroit Red Wings.

The day before, Avalanche alumni will take on alumni from the Red Wings.
