COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Police in Commerce City are searching for a 44-year-old woman who was last in contact with her family on Dec. 26, 2020.

Police said in early January that Laura Kay Lindquist was last seen near her home in Commerce City on Dec. 22, but on Tuesday, police stated that the last confirmed sighting of her was actually on Jan. 11 at the Dollar Tree at 10337 Washington St. in Thornton.

She talked with her mother on the phone on Dec. 26, police said.

Her family said they believe she may be developmentally disabled or may struggle with her mental health. Her disappearance is not normal behavior, they said.

Police describe Lindquist as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

If anyone has information on where she may be, or other information that could help locate her, call the CCPD tipline at 303-289-3626 or email Det. Mark Faulhaber at mfaulhaber@c3gov.com.
