A Colorado woman showed her spirit by taking a Denver Broncos flag to the summit of Mount Everest.

Kim Hess posted a photo of the triumphant moment on Instagram.

"I find it ironic how the things that scare us can also be the most thrilling experience tied into one. Climbing Mt. Everest is much like that, it intimidates me everyday yet I can’t seem to get enough of it," Hess wrote in a blog post.

Hess suffered through a bout of bronchitis during her ascent, but that didn't stop her.

"Efficiency is key at altitude and I knew every time I had a coughing fit was depleting my body of precious energy. I felt rotten," Hess stated in a blog post dated May 7. "One step. Five deep breathes (sic). Next step. Three deep breathes (sic)."

But Hess has some serious "horse power."

Hess lives in Steamboat Springs but is from Greenwood Village, according to her Facebook profile.

We love her Colorado pride!
