DENVER — Bill Cosby’s Colorado victim spoke out after the comedy legend was sentenced Tuesday to three to 10 years behind bars.
Heidi Thomas lives in Colorado and was the first to testify in Cosby's retrial. She says she was sexually assaulted by Cosby when she was 24.
Thomas tells Denver7 she believed until the last second that he would be let off the hook.
“I didn't ever think that the little Davids like us would bring down Goliath. I never thought that would happen,” Thomas said. “So then to have jail time, to see him led off in handcuffs, I don't know that I ever dared let that enter my mind.”
The judge said Cosby has shown no remorse and also ordered him to register as a sex offender. Cosby will appeal.
