OLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Police in Colorado Springs say a person involved in a possible domestic dispute with a man took out a gun and opened fire, hitting the victim in the groin area.

Police say they found the victim in the home, located in the 4000 block of Lacy Lane, with an additional wound near his right buttocks. It is unclear if the victim was shot twice or both wounds are from one bullet.

Police were called to the home in Colorado Springs around 3:40 a.m. Friday. Paramedics transported the man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It’s unknown if any arrests were made. Police say there is no danger to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
