DENVER — With temperatures finally falling from the summer heat, camping, hunting and football seasons are on the rise.

If you enjoy spending time outdoors, you’re in good company with one piece of equipment you can use for all your adventures.

The RovR RollR is billed as the ultimate cooler and Colorado's perfect companion.

“Of course, being a cooler, it's good for a lot of things,” said RovR Products founder Tom DeFrancia. “Tailgating, parties, hunting, fishing. But everything for this cooler is mainly designed for the car camper.”

DeFrancia is a father of four and spends a lot of weekends with his family outdoors.

He says he's the one toting all the gear back and forth from the parking lot to the camp site, so he designed his first RovR RollR three years ago with efficiency in mind.

“The top pops out into a wagon. I can throw all my stuff on top,” DeFrancia said. “It's got great wheels, so I can go over any kind of terrain. And it can carry heavy weights.”

His multi-purpose, high-end cooler now comes in a variety of sizes and can keep food cool for up to ten days.

“It has different compartments where you can divide up meats, vegetables, ice. Wine bottles, champagne bottles upright,” DeFrancia said.

It also has anchor pins around the edge of the cooler to create a food prep and utility station. They can hold cutting boards, drinks, umbrellas, and fishing poles.

There are also pneumatic wheels that roll extremely fast on rugged terrain.

“You know, the cooler is roto-molded. Grizzly proof. Really strong,” DeFrancia said. “It's the same way you make kayaks, right? So it's very tough and very durable.”

He said Colorado’s trails are the perfect place to put it to the test. And he enlisted the help of cycling celebrity Myles Rockwell.

“And so I got Myles Rockwell, who's being inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame next week, to strap it behind his bike and take it through the bike park,” DeFrancia said.

“I would have to say that the RovR RollR passed my test,” Rockwell said through a RovR Products YouTube video. “Grinding, flipping, jumping. We did it all.”

Men’s Journal even named the RovR RollR its "Gear of the Year" in 2018.
But DeFrancia said he wants you, the consumer, to be the ultimate judge.

“My mission is to innovate products that make gathering in the outdoors easier and more fun,” DeFrancia said. “And so that's what this cooler does.”

RovR Products are available online and through several outdoor and hardware retailers.
