U.S. Air Force Col. Micah Fesler, commander in the 140th Wing, said they are honored to fly over the communities' Veterans Day events and humbled by the support and appreciation for veterans.

“We’re all standing on the shoulders of giants, the freedoms we have today are a gift from the generations of brave men and women who fought for our nation before us and those who continue to serve today," Fesler said.

The National Guard said these are the approximate times and locations to see the flyover:

Residents may see the jets as they fly from location to location.

The flyovers serve as training for the pilots and aren't an additional cost to taxpayers.

The National Guard asks that Coloradans wear masks and practice social distancing while watching the flyover.
